The next show during the Mont-Carmel Fall & Winter Concert Series, presented by the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel (CDCPMC), will take place virtually on Sunday, February 20 at 7 p.m. on its Facebook page.   This show, presented in partnership with the Black Cultural Society of PEI, will feature Inn Echo.

One of the most unique and captivating groups to surface out of Atlantic Canada in recent years, Inn Echo is a Prince Edward Island based band which has been enchanting audiences locally and abroad since their debut in 2018.  It has played at Ireland’s largest music festival, the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil. It has also participated in a slew of renowned festivals throughout Canada such as Celtic Colours International, Quebec’s Festival Mémoire et Racines, the Indian River Festival, and the Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival.  Inn Echo is comprised of musicians who hail from places all over North America.  Fiddler Karson McKeown is from Ottawa, Ontario; cellist/fiddler Tuli Porcher is from Victoria, B.C.; and guitarist Tom Gammons is from Montana, USA.  Inn Echo released a debut self-titled album in 2019 and followed this up with a critically-acclaimed EP called Winter’s End in 2020.  Innovative, powerful and creatively-crafted, the soundscape laid down by this three-piece instrumental group is both wildly dynamic and delightfully distinctive.

This free hour-long show featuring Inn Echo will take place this Sunday at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CDCPMC.  Each week, until March 27, a free virtual show will take place on Sunday night on our Facebook page.  Taking the stage on February 27 is the group Güiza featuring Luisa Güiza, Tom Gammons and Mario Jones. The artists who will be performing during the month of March will be announced next week.
