NEW GLASGOW – Aug. 10, 2018 – Mike Bradley Insurance Services (The Co-operators) is offering cash prizes of $100 to the five golfers who will get their ball closest to the pin at Hole 13 during the 13th Annual Acadian Golf Tournament, being held at Glasgow Hills Golf Course in New Glasgow Sept. 9 at 12:30 p.m.

This hole was named the “Lucky Hole” to chase away any bad luck that might be associated with the number 13 during this tournament, being organized as a fundraiser for the PEI delegation heading to the Finals of Les Jeux de l’Acadie in 2019 in Grand Falls, NB.

The organizing partners – the PEI Regional Committee of Les Jeux de l’Acadie and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI – are reminding golfers that the registration deadline for the tournament is Tuesday, Sept. 4. In exchange for the $90 registration fee for individuals and $360 for foursomes, golfers will get a full round of golf, the use of a golf cart, a delicious supper and a chance to win a wide variety of prizes, based on athletic skill or luck.
