Vincent & Louis Cormier from the Bluegrass Diamonds to perform a virtual concert!

The concert series organized by the Evangeline Bluegrass and Traditional Music Festival Association is in full swing every Wednesday until March 30 on the Evangeline Bluegrass Festival’s Facebook page with shows on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.

The second show of the series will take place this upcoming Wednesday, March 2, and will feature the father-son duo comprised of Vincent & Louis Cormier from the Bluegrass Diamonds.  Originally from south-east New Brunswick, Bluegrass Diamonds made their debut in Memramcook, New Brunswick, over 30 years ago.  They have performed at Bluegrass festivals all over Canada.  Vincent plays bass and, his son, Louis plays guitar and sings.  During this show, they will perform a nice mixture of both French and English songs.

This free show by Vincent & Louis Cormier will be streamed this Wednesday, March 2, at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FestivalBluegrassEvangeline. Each week, until March 30 a free virtual show will take place on Wednesday nights starting at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page. Over the course of the upcoming weeks, numerous artists will be featured, including the group Two + Three (March 9), the group Bluegrass Tradition from Nova Scotia (March 16), Shane Douthwright & The Virtuosos (March 23) and Janet McGarry & Wildwood (March 30).
