Güiza Performs a Free Virtual Show!

The next show during the Mont-Carmel Fall & Winter Concert Series, presented by the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel (CDCPMC), will take place virtually on Sunday, February 27 at 7 p.m. on its Facebook page.   This show, presented in partnership with Bienvenue Évangéline, will feature Güiza.

Luisa Güiza is a vocalist who takes inspiration from her hometown of Villavicencio, Colombia, from the people of her community, and the sharing of their stories. Tom Gammons is originally from Butte, Montana, and his passion for the acoustic guitar comes from the warmth and togetherness of traditional music. Mario Jones is a multi-instrumentalist who comes from Freeport, Bahamas. Jones and Gammons provide a rich bed of rhythm and harmony to support the dramatic, affectionate melodies from Güiza.

This free hour-long show featuring Güiza will take place this Sunday at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CDCPMC.  Each week, until March 27, a free virtual show will take place on Sunday night on our Facebook page.  The artists being featured during the month of March are: Kierrah Celeste (March 6), Jacques & Josiane Comeau (March 13), Claude Cormier (March 20) and Jonathan Arsenault & Zakk Cormier (March 27).

The mandate of the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel is to showcase, develop and promote the rich cultural heritage of Mont-Carmel.
