Online Concert Series organized by the Evangeline Bluegrass and Traditional Music Festival Association!

Due to the situation with the COVID-19 global pandemic, the Evangeline Bluegrass and Traditional Music Festival Association had to cancel the annual Evangeline Bluegrass Festival which was slated to take place in the Evangeline region during the month of July 2021.

For the second year in a row, they will be hosting an online concert series, comprised of 6 shows, on their Facebook page from Wednesday, February 23 to March 30.  Each week, a forty-five-minute show will take place on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.

The very first virtual concert during the Evangeline Bluegrass Festival will take place this upcoming Wednesday, February 23, at 7 p.m. on the Evangeline Bluegrass Festival’s Facebook page and will feature Simply Blue from New Brunswick.

Simply Blue is no stranger to Bluegrass music! Having produced two albums, Jamie Melanson, Jessy Hebert, Guy Godin & Reno Richard struck up a friendship that carries through their music. With dynamics and drive, they bring a modern take on traditional Bluegrass music!

This free show by Simply Blue will be available on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FestivalBluegrassEvangeline. Each week, until March 30 a free virtual show will take place on Wednesday nights starting at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page.
