La Fédération culturelle de l'Î.-P.-E launching Bobine project.

La Fédération culturelle de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard (FCÎPÉ) in collaboration with Film PEI and la Fondation Québec Cinéma is issuing a call for applications to professional and emerging artists, community organizations and individual members of Prince Edward Island's Acadian and Francophone communities to create and produce film and video projects as part of the BOBINE program.

The BOBINE program encourages community members to apply for video projects in the following categories:

FILM FICTION

Short film, historical, mystery, romance, etc.

DOCUMENTARY

History, heritage, culinary, entrepreneurship, etc.

NEW MEDIA

Promotional clips, music videos, YouTube, game shows, etc.

Each application is eligible to receive a maximum of $5,000 for the production of its film or video project.

As part of the BOBINE project, members of the six Acadian and Francophone communities will also have the opportunity to be trained in the production of video and audio projects in their communities. Starting this fall, the FCIPE will be organizing training in pre-production, production and post-production in the artistic discipline of film and video.

All individuals or groups interested in applying must submit the application form to Marissa Ladéroute at the FCIPE before the October 21, 2021 deadline by email marissa.fcipe@gmail.com. To obtain an application form or for more information on the BOBINE project, please visit www.federationculturelle.ca, FCIPE's social media or contact Marissa Ladéroute directly at 902.368.3189.

The mission of the Fédération culturelle de l'ÎPÉ is to ensure and maintain the ongoing cultural and artistic development of PEI's Acadian and Francophone community.  The FCPEI encourages and supports, by all available means, its member-organizations and/or artists in their efforts to ensure that the cultural vitality of the Acadian and francophone community is manifested.
