Join a car rally to discover the Island's Acadian heritage

The Sister Antoinette DesRoches Historical Committee invites you to participate in a car rally that will lead you to discover, while having fun, some of the Island's Acadian history and heritage. The rally will take place on Saturday, September 11. Departure is scheduled between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. from the Acadian Museum in Miscouche and will end at the Acadian Musical Village in Abram-Village.

This fun activity will be conducted in teams. Prizes will be presented to the three teams that score the most points. There will also be participation prizes. Prizes will be presented during a light lunch at the Acadian MusicalVillage.

There is no limit to the number of participants per vehicle. The cost is $5 per person payable (cash or cheque only) upon registration at the Acadian Museum. There is no charge for children under 10 years of age.   

To ensure the smooth running of the activity, we invite participants to pre-register by September 3 at the latest, indicating the number of people in the team. To register, contact the Acadian Museum at 902-432-2880 or by e-mail at muséeacadien@gmail.com.

This activity is organized with financial support from the PEI Community Cultural Partnership Program and contributions from various partners, including the Acadian Museum of PEI, La Coopérative d'immigration francophone de l'Î.-P.-É., Le Salon du livre de l'Î.-P.-É., La Belle-Alliance Ltée and the Conseil scolaire-communautaire Évangéline.
