Moyenne Rig to perform during the Mont-Carmel Summer Concert Series!

The Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel (CDCPMC) is pleased to announce the next artists who will take the stage and present a virtual concert during the Mont-Carmel Summer Concert Series.

The third of nine shows will feature the group Moyenne Rig from New Brunswick on Sunday, July 18 at 7 p.m.  Inspired by Bluegrass airs, Moyenne Rig is a Country Acadian group from Saint John, New Brunswick.  These three young musicians have been performing together on stage since 2018; they are all 13 and 14 years old.  Members of Moyenne Rig are Martin Bourque on guitar and vocals, Noah Ouellette on banjo and harmonies as well as Jeremy Richard on mandolin.  During this performance, they will be accompanied by Jacob Ouellette on bass.  Don’t let their young age fool you as their musicality runs far beyond their years!  This is a performance you will not want to miss!

This free hour-long show will be available on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CDCPMC.  Each week, until August 29 a free show will take place on Sunday night starting at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page.  Throughout the course of the summer, numerous artists will be featured including: Christian « Kit » Goguen and Mathias Goguen (July 25), Shane Pendergast (August 1), Flo Durelle (August 8), Keelin Wedge (August 15), Tara MacLean (August 22) as well as Josée Boudreau and Craig Fair (August 29).
