Moyenne Rig in concert via Facebook LIVE!

The fifth show of the Bluegrass and Traditional music concert series organized by the Evangeline Bluegrass and Traditional Music Festival Association, will take place on Sunday, March 21, at 7 p.m. It will feature a group of young musicians from New Brunswick by the name of Moyenne Rig.

Inspired by Bluegrass airs, Moyenne Rig is a Country Acadian group from Saint John, New Brunswick.  These three young musicians have been performing together on stage since 2018; they are all only 13 years old.  Members of Moyenne Rig are Martin Bourque on guitar and vocals, Noah Ouellette on banjo and harmonies as well as Jeremy Richard on mandoline.  During this performance, they will be accompanied by Jacob Ouellette on bass.  Don’t let their young age fool you as their musicality runs far beyond their years!  This is a performance you will not want to miss!

This free show by Moyenne Rig will be streamed LIVE this Sunday at 7 p.m. from our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FestivalBluegrassEvangeline.  The last show of this concert series will be taking place next Sunday, March 28, and will feature the group Veranda from Québec.

If you have not yet done so, we invite you to like and follow our Facebook page to be kept up-to-date throughout the course of this series!
