The Stiff Family to present a Facebook LIVE concert!

The concert series organized by the Evangeline Bluegrass and Traditional Music Festival Association is in full swing every Sunday until March 28 on the Evangeline Bluegrass Festival’s Facebook page with LIVE concerts on Sunday nights at 7 p.m.

The second show of the series will take place this upcoming Sunday, February 28, and will feature The Stiff Family, which is a family of six musicians who moved to Prince Edward Island on a small farm in the fall of 2018.  In 2013, they started playing Gospel Bluegrass music together as a family. In the Bluegrass tradition, they all sing and play acoustic stringed instruments. Dave (Dad) plays guitar, Heather (Mom) plays bass, Aaron (19 years old) plays banjo and dobro, Hannah (19 years old) plays mandolin and fiddle, Elizabeth (16 years old) plays fiddle, and Abigail (13 years old) plays fiddle. Over the course of the years, they’ve performed together on numerous stages from one end of the Island to the other.

This free LIVE show by The Stiff Family will be streamed LIVE this Sunday, February 28, at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FestivalBluegrassEvangeline. Each week, between February 21 and March 28, a free LIVE show will take place on Sunday night starting at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page.  Over the course of the upcoming weeks, numerous artists will be featured, including singer/songwriter from Nova Scotia – JP Cormier (March 7), the Island group – Janet McGarry & Wildwood (March 14), a youth group from New Brunswick – Moyenne Rig (March 21) and the Québec-based group – Veranda (March 28).
