The City of Summerside and its partners invite the public to the unveiling of the reproduction of "Irony of History: England, First Nation to Salute the Acadian Flag". This work is part of a series of 6 paintings by Claude Picard that are exhibited at the Acadian Museum of PEI. This series illustrates the adoption of the Acadian National Symbols during the Acadian National Conventions. The Association du Musée acadien de l'ÎPÉ, owner of the paintings, is a proud partner of this project. The unveiling will take place on October 25 at noon outside Summerside Seafood Supreme at 105 Queens Wharf.
