
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Student Success and Continuous Improvement, the health program teacher is part of a pedagogical team responsible for the delivery of nursing assistant, care attendant and long-term care assistant training.
The teacher will be in charge of part of the theoretical training, laboratories and supervision of the students' internships. He or she will be responsible for adapting course content when required and, more generally, for contributing to the development of the health program as a whole.
Requirements
The applicant must have a registered nurse or nursing assistant education and work experience that allows him/her to offer quality teaching. He or she must be comfortable working in a hospital and/or long-term care setting to provide supervision of placements.
The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and the ability to organize in a post-secondary school setting. In addition, the candidate must be available to work remotely or face-to-face as required.

Location:
Position based in Wellington. Possibility of telecommuting with some days required.
Salary:
Depending on degree and experience between $53,290 and $69,530.
