Genealogy Workshop at the Acadian Museum

A bilingual genealogy workshop will be offered at the Acadian Museum of Prince Edward Island in Miscouche on Sunday, February 19, starting at 1:30 pm.

The first hour of the workshop will consist of an introduction to the many resources available at the Museum's Acadian Research Centre for those who wish to begin their genealogy and trace their Acadian ancestors.  

Beginning at 2:30 p.m., volunteers will be on hand to assist those who would like help with their genealogical research. To facilitate the research, it is requested that participants bring with them all the information available within their families, such as the names of grandparents and great-grandparents.

This activity is organized by the Sister Antoinette DesRoches Historical Committee in collaboration with the Acadian Museum as part of Heritage Week. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Storm date: February 26.
