Closing Show of the Mont-Carmel Fall & Winter Concert Series!

The closing show of the Mont-Carmel Fall & Winter Concert Series, presented by the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel (CDCPMC), will take place virtually on Sunday, March 27, at 7 p.m. on its Facebook page.   This show will feature an Acadian Kitchen Party with Jonathan Arsenault, Richard Wood, Cynthia MacLeod, Rémi Arsenault and Christina Gallant MacLean.

Jonathan Arsenault lives in the Évangéline region in Prince Edward Island and has been playing music for as long as he can remember.  Over the course of the years, he has had the opportunity to travel and perform on a variety of stages.  He performs a nice mixture of various styles of music – from classic rock songs to traditional music!

For more than three decades, 5-time ECMA and multi-Music PEI Award-winner Richard Wood has blown away sold-out audiences around the globe with his traditional-born, fiery brand of Celtic music. His Canadian Folk Music Award-nominated and ECMA award-winning 8th album, Unbroken, has reviewers praising it as some of his best work to date!

Cynthia MacLeod has been entertaining audiences from near and far for almost two decades. With five albums and numerous Music PEI and ECMA awards and nominations to her credit, she is well-known for her engaging, high-energy performances while staying true to her Island roots.

For his part, Rémi Arsenault is from the Évangéline region and is without a doubt one of the accompanists who is most in demand on the East Coast of Canada.  He has performed on stages all around the world and, during the last few years, is one of Nathalie MacMaster’s accompanists.

Christina Gallant MacLean is originally from the Évangéline region.  Her very first experience on stage was in productions with The Feast Dinner Theatres.  Since then, Christina was a member of the traditional group Chiquésa and has taken part in numerous dinner-theatre productions at the Village musical acadien.

This free hour-long Acadian Kitchen Party with Jonathan Arsenault, Richard Wood, Cynthia MacLeod, Rémi Arsenault and Christina Gallant MacLean will take place this Sunday at 7 p.m. on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CDCPMC

The mandate of the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel is to showcase, develop and promote the rich cultural heritage of Mont-Carmel.
