New cohosts announced for 2019 Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala

WELLINGTON – Feb. 26, 2019 – Two Acadian personalities from PEI – Gilles Arsenault and Amy Richard – will be in charge of cohosting the 2019 Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala Saturday, March 16, at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside. Gilles Arsenault, who lives in Abram-Village, is well known as an educator and entrepreneur and is currently employed as a development officer with RDÉE Prince Edward Island. Amy Richard, from Mont-Carmel, is a musician and stepdancer who is an accountant by trade; she has been working as RDÉE PEI’s financial administrative assistant for the past 12 years. This duo will have the privilege of introducing special guests, award categories, finalists and sponsors, as well as to give brief instructions. Here they are shown displaying the trophy that will be presented to each of the winners of the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce’s “Biggest Entrepreneurial Recognition Evening of the Year”. Tickets for the event (which includes the finale of the Francophone Ignition Contest and the Gala) will be on sale until March 8 at a cost of $40 each at the Wellington Rural Action Centre, the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside and the RDÉE PEI office in Charlottetown.
