Acadie Story at the Guild

La Fédération culturelle de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard in collaboration with The Guild presents Acadie Story, an interactive bilingual concert series celebrating the story and the traditions of the Island Acadians by bringing together a variety of high caliber artists from the six Acadian regions of Prince Edward Island.

Discover the cultural richness of the Acadian and Francophone Islanders through traditional music, song and dance as well as other artistic expressions showcasing their story and joie de vivre. Acadie Story presents eight variety shows each with special guests celebrating the musical traditions of a different Island Acadian region including the communities of Souris, Charlottetown, Rustico, Summerside, Evangeline and West Prince.

Hosted by Island comedian Chuck Arsenault, the series continues August 12th  at 2 p.m. with performances by Julien Kitson, Annie Kitson, Sylvie Toupin, Jacques Arsenault, Corinne Cormier, Nathalie Arsenault, Nicole Allain, Pepeto Pinto, Zakk Cormier & Jesse Périard.

The Fédération culturelle de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard is a provincial organization which ensures cultural and artistic development in Prince Edward Island’s Acadian and francophone communities.
