The 25th anniversary celebrations of La Coopérative Le Chez-nous ltée continue Saturday, Aug. 11, at 1:30 p.m. with a blueberry social featuring excellent, lively music for residents, members and volunteers of the co-op as well as the public in general.

Presented in collaboration with the la Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel, the celebration will first of all feature accordionist Roger "Co-op" Arsenault, along with his daughter Cathy, her husband Michel Arsenault and their two daughters- who are all musicians. The next entertainers will be two members of the group Gadelle (and formerly of Barachois) - the extremely popular fiddler Louise Arsenault and renowned keyboard player Hélène Bergeron. Several stepdancers will also give a few steps.

A snack, featuring cake, blueberries, ice cream, tea, coffee and juice will be served. 50-50 tickets will also be sold. Everyone is invited to attend free of charge.
